I pPROMed with both boys and they never found a cause. I had a hysterectomy in 2006 due to adenomyosis and severe adhesions. It looks like we won't know the exact cause of our preemies unless there is a large breakthrough in research.
Prom is when your water breaks before contractions and dialation right? I don't think I promed because my water didn't break until I was 7 cm and contracting heavily. I think mine was pure preterm labor mixed with a weaker cervix, plus carrying twins! :(
